Q: What is the Behind the Ears Podcast?
A: Uncle Danny and Mr. Chris are podcasters that talk about all things Disney. This includes the parks, trip planning, dining, movies, music – pretty much anything the Disney corporation has to offer, including Star Wars and the Marvel universes. They have published over 300 shows over and were one of the premier shows that started to record their shows via live streaming and interacting with their viewing audience.
Q: I’ve never heard of you and I listen to a lot of podcasts. Why should I listen to you as well?
Much like there are different radio stations, there are many great podcasts available. We have our own style and we simply love to provide our listeners with the best possible Disney related talk that we can provide. We invite you to give us a listen!
Q: There are a lot of Disney related podcasts out there today. What makes yours different?
A: You are absolutely right! There are a lot of awesome podcasts out there. We listen to many of them ourselves and several Disney podcasters are friends of ours. The thing is that we all have different sorts of shows to meet the needs of growing audiences. We don’t follow a specific genre of topics but touch on pretty much anything and everything in a way that is fun, entertaining, and informative. Our motto is “Everyone does Disney differently” and our show is different to match.
Q: Where are you located?
A: Our studios are located in New Jersey and Indiana.
Q: Where can I find BTEP live streams?
A: The show now streams over at our Facebook group. Click Here to check it out. You can also find us over at the Behind The Ears Podcast YouTube Channel.
Q: Are you really live on the show?
A: Oh yeah! And unscripted too. Anything can happen and you can see it happen first hand. One thing we always keep in mind is that we are a family-oriented show, so you wont hear any foul language or the like.
Q: When do you stream your live shows?
A: Currently, we stream our live shows on Tuesday, and Thursday. Our shows start at 9:45 PM ET.
Q: How long are your shows.
A: Generally, they last about an hour.
Q: Do your live shows become podcasts?
A: They sure do – and you can find our podcast over at Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts. In essence, you can find us wherever you get your podcasts, including Spotify.
Q: When do your podcasts come out?
A: We release new shows on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Granted, sometimes we release them on different days, but its all the more reason to subscribe so you get the latest episode when they come out!
Q: How can I make sure that I will get the newest episodes?
A: Apple Podcasts and other podcasting apps will allow you to subscribe to the show making it easier than ever to get our latest episodes.
Q: You keep asking us to rate and review the show over at Apple Podcasts. Why? Also, I dont have an iPhone.
A: Rating and reviewing the show at iTunes helps the show get more viability over time. You can even rate and review there even if you dont listen to us there or an Apple device. It only takes a few moments to do and it really helps us out.
Q: I see that during the live show, some comments show up on the screen. Whats up with that?
A: We have the ability to share with our viewers comments from those watching the show. We love to interact with those watching and its a way for us to bring up a comment and talk about it.
Q: Can you respond to my comment on the show?
A: There are times where we get so many comments in at one time, we do miss a few. But be assured that we do read all comments made after the show.
Q: I have a question, comment, or show suggestion. What can I do?
A: Feel free to drop us a line at BehindTheEarsPodcast@gmail.com.
You can also leave us a message on our FB page.
Q: I wanted to talk about something on the show but my suggestion was not used. Whats up with that?
A: While we are an unscripted show, we do have an overall show plan. With all the things that are going on in the Disney universe, we cant get to everyone’s suggestions right away. However, everything is considered. After all – there are no real bad ideas, right?
Q: I have a trip planning question – can I email you that as well?
A: Sure! We love helping people out!
Q: I heard on past shows that you used to do an “After Party” show. Whats that about and can I be invited?
A: After we record our usual show, we sometimes stick around and talk to our audience in a more casual manner. We do record our After Party shows and use clips for additional shows. It’s a great time and everyone is invited.
Q: I have a business and would like a shout out on your show. Can that be arranged?
A: We love to talk about potential partnerships with Disney related businesses! Please drop us a line at BehindTheEarsPodcast@gmail.com and we can see what we can do.
